By "Dat 1st Anime I Watched", I mean the first anime that I actually finished ever. I remember that the very first anime that I actually watched is Dragonball Z but I never really finished it nor started it. In my childhood, I (and my siblings too) just randomly open the TV. And then when I'm lucky, I exclaim, "Yay Dragonball!!!" and then go on watching. It's a very enjoyable show after all, even more so because I/we were only little kids back then. Well the point is, I just watch random episodes of DBZ and I never knew what the start nor what the finale is.
Anyway, I gotta stop this DBZ talk before this post goes too off. Im'ma proceed to how Yamato Nadeshiko became my first anime.
I was an elementary student, age 10, when a new channel popped up on the local TV. I have no idea that there's this so called internet back then (yeah, poor me) so I only watch TV or study or whatevs to entertain myself. So yeah, Yamato Nadeshiko is one of the anime that were aired in that channel. Well actually, I'm not quite sure whether it was really Yamato Nadeshiko that I finished first since there's also DN Angel but I think I missed an episode of the latter so I'll go with Yamato Nadeshiko as my first anime. lol
And yup, it was a good start for my otaku life. Many would say that action/shounen anime is the best to watch first if you're new to anime but I think that light-hearted series like this that combines a lot of genre is also a must-watch for beginners.
